  1. Go to the Contacts page.

  2. Click on the New Contact button.

Step 2: Match fields

Check the fields that Textla identifies automatically (e.g., first name, last name, email, phone number). If a field is not mapped correctly, use the drop-down menu to match it manually.

Now, make sure all your columns are assigned to the correct label. You can manually change them by clicking on the dropdown. You also have the option to not import certain columns by clicking the import check box for those columns. To finish this step, click the Import button in the bottom right.

6. Next, you can bulk assign Tags, Groups, or Keywords by selecting any of your choice from the dropdown. This will bulk assign these to all the contacts you are currently uploading. You can also create a Group or Tag by clicking in to the line, typing the name, and hitting enter or return on your keyboard. Once you are done, click the Continue button. Here are some more articles on creating Groups, Tags, and Keywords.

7. The last step in the process is the Finish Import page. You can see how many contacts were created, updated, and returned errors. If receive a large amount of errors back and would like to look into them, you can download the Errors CSV by clicking the button in the bottom left.

8. When you are finished, click the Done button in the bottom right
