When you first create your Twilio account, you are given a Twilio trial account with $15 of credits pre-loaded to buy a number and try out their features.

With the Trial account, you are only able to buy one phone number. You are also only able to message verified numbers with your Twilio account. To add verified numbers, click this link and select Add a new Caller ID. Enter the number that you would like to add as verified, and click the Verify Number button. This will send a verification code that you will need to enter to verify the number.

Once you are sure that Twilio & Textla are the right fit for you - it's time to take things to the next level.

With a paid Twilio account, you are able to buy as many numbers as you would like, along with access to short code numbers. You are also able to message any numbers, as long as they have not opted out of receiving messages from you.
