If you are more of a visual learner, feel free to watch this simple step by step video on how to set up call forwarding.
Getting Started
Access the Studio Flows page in your Twilio console
2. Click the Create new Flow button. If you already have existing flows, click the blue + button
3. Name the flow to Call forwarding, and click Next
4. Scroll down and select Call Forwarding, then click Next
5. Click on the forward_call box to open up the editor sidebar. Inside of the sidebar, you can connect the call to:
Single number (most common)
Multiple numbers (calls all numbers simultaneously, call is directed to the first phone answered)
Client user, SIM, SIP endpoint, and Conference
6. Once you have selected how you would like to receive these calls, enter the phone number(s) in E.164 format, and click Save
7. Lastly, click the Publish button
8. Once the flow has been published, go to the Active Numbers page inside of Twilio, and select the number that you would like to forward calls from.
9. Scroll down to the Voice Configuration section, and find the A Call Comes In section. You will want to change this section to Studio Flow โ Call forwarding. Now click Save.
If you would like to forward calls from multiple numbers, you will need to repeat steps 8 & 9 for each number.
