When submitting your verification, you will need to provide a screenshot of your opt-in process. For the best chance at first-time approval, you will want to ensure the compliance of the submission. Here are the guidelines for each submission type:

Web Form

  • Number collection

  • Checkbox that customers can click to opt them in to receive SMS from your company. Be sure that this checkbox is for SMS only, as grouping email & SMS opt in is not compliant and may result in a failed submission.

    • Only having a checkbox for customers to agree to your Terms of Service or Privacy Policy is not compliant, even if SMS consent is in the documents.

    • Example of compliant wording:

      • I consent to receive SMS from {Company name}. Msg&data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.
