How Phone Number Labeling Works
Your Primary Number
When you create your account and get your first phone number, it automatically becomes your Primary number. Here's what that means:
You'll see a Primary badge next to this number
It's your default number for sending messages
It always stays at the top of your phone number list, no matter how many other numbers you add
Automatic Labeling
Every time you add a new phone number, we automatically:
Give it a fun random emoji
Label it sequentially (Number 1, Number 2, Number 3, and so on)
Display them in the order they were purchased
Customizing Phone Number Labels
How to Edit Labels
Editing your labels is easy! You have two options:
Click directly on the phone number name
Click the dropdown menu next to the phone number and select "Edit Label"

Label Name
Change the default name (like "Number 2") to anything you want
Pro tip: Keep labels to one or two short words so they are easy to view in the compact spaces where they appear throughout the site
Use descriptive labels so you can quickly identify how each number is used when sending campaigns
Examples: "Marketing," "Sales," "Support," "From Jason"
Note: Don't worry — these labels are just for you! Your contacts won't see them in their messages.

Note: This emoji appears throughout the platform (sometimes on its own) as a quick visual way to identify your number
Description
Add more detailed notes about how you're using this phone number
This is where you can write longer explanations that don't fit in the label
Descriptions only show up when you open the phone number details modal

Your Phone Numbers Page
Find all your phone numbers in one convenient place:
Each number shows its emoji, label, and verification status
Your Primary number is always listed first
Additional numbers appear in the order you purchased them
How to Access the My Numbers Page
To manage your numbers go to the "My Numbers" page inside your account settings.
Click the phone on the left side navigation or click "Settings" from the drop down menu next to your avatar.
Next, click the Phone Number option on the settings menu
